Dory
A small, flat-bottomed boat with high sides and great sheer of the gunwale. It usually was used as a fishing boat, whose design allows stacking of several boats on the decks of commercial fishing ships. They are transported to fishing "grounds" where they are put in the water, and rowed to the fishing areas.
