This boat is very famous in United Kingdom. Its structure has been designed to fit the narrow canals, because of this the name of Narrowboat. This boat was created between the 18 and 19 centuries and was used to transport products to many cities in Great Britain.
The Narrowboat has a very uncommon design. One aspect that calls the attention is its width that is not longer than 2.1 meters (this boat was created to guarantee easy passage everywhere.). The average length of these boats is 22 meters.
In Great Britain these boats represented an important way of development in that era. We could say that this boat was an important part of the Britain industrial revolution. The Narrowboat was designed to transport heavy loads, but some of them to transport letters, little boxes and passengers.

Nowadays these boats are used for several activities such as, have a good weekend with friends or family, enjoy annual holidays and some people use these boats as permanent houses, these boats are not considered power boats.


These Boats have several comforts the most outstanding are: a well distributed main room, a comfortable kitchen (with the basic requirements) at least two bedrooms and a bathroom.
